The inaugural Hong Kong-ASEAN Summit, staged on 3 November 2022, was well attended by more than 250 executives in person and about 1,000 online. It brought policymakers, business leaders and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and the region together to discuss opportunities in the ASEAN and map the way forward as Hong Kong acts as a super connector to facilitate exchanges between the ASEAN and China.

The summit is particularly important as Hong Kong builds on its traditional strengths and identifies new opportunities.  The Foundation will roll out programmes to help students from Hong Kong and the ASEAN to widen their horizons and facilitate exchanges for businesses and communities.
